Wael Fakharany is the Regional Director for Google in Egypt and North Africa. With more than 20 years of experience in the technology sector, Wael is one of the leading voices driving the IT and media industries in the region, impacting and empowering millions of Arabs online.
At Google, Wael is responsible for driving the business strategy and operations for the company throughout Egypt and North Africa. His main tasks include developing the internet eco-system, partnering with key players to develop the Internet, as well as advancing the advertising platforms in the region.
Wael frequently speaks on topics he is passionate about such as entrepreneurship in emerging markets, business incubation and inspiring future leaders from the Arab world to embrace technology through innovation. Wael joined Google in January 2008 following a successful career in many leading management roles at IBM, 3Com Middle East & North Africa and Sun Microsystems, to name a few. Wael also successfully founded Wireless Dynamics, before exiting the company in November 2008. Wael holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Communication Engineering from Ain Sham University Cairo. He is married with two children.

 

 

Nagwa Ibrahim

Dr. Ibrahim is currently an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship Development at the American University in Cairo. She worked on developing and creating Local, National and International collaboration between AUC and other universities, institutes and organizations in the field of Entrepreneurship and Research as well all Corporate Social Responsibilities
Dr. Nagwa Ibrahim is also a frequent advisor of Entrepreneurial Executive Education at Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar (CMUQ) and Qatar University (QU). She's also a senior trainer (Recruit, Interview and Judge) and a member in the International Goldman Sachs Program for 10,000 Women Entrepreneurs in the MENA.
Dr. Ibrhaim earned her Ph.D. in Environmental Economics from Ain Shams University Cairo, Egypt, and Masters Degree in Environmental Economics, Ain Shams University

Enovio Consulting is a boutique management consulting firm with full service offices in Ann Arbor, Michigan; Columbus, Ohio, and Cairo, Egypt and has successfully completed consulting engagements with fortune 100 companies throughout the US and in Egypt. Ihab advised clients in utility, energy, construction, and information technology industries on issues of strategy development, strategic alignment, capability development, execution planning and excellence, program and project management, and business building. Ihab has also worked in advising startups in business planning, business model generation and finance structuring. Ihab is also the Co-Founder of Innovation Energy LLC (IELLC). IELLC was founded to commercialize innovative energy generation and management solutions and license state-of-the art geothermal and waste heat capture technology in Egypt and the Middle East. Ihab is passionate about social entrepreneurship and non-profit organizations. He is co-founder and Board Member of Nahdet El Mahrousa Non Governmental Organization in Egypt; and Board Member of Ana Masry Foundation in the United States. Ihab’s professional experience is interdisciplinary where he assumed technical and management positions with Turner Construction Company in the United States, and Legal Advisor positions with Miller, Canfield, Paddock and Stone in the United States.

Adel Boseli

  Adel Boseli

Co-founder of Shekra

Boseli is the co-founder of Shekra; an equity-based crowd funding platform aiming to grow the SMEs of Egypt and the region.  Boseli is also the co-founder of NaviWare and its real estate product RealSync, with 9 years of experience in the software and technology industries and a proven track record in software design, implementation, systems architecture, data analysis, project management, and data mining.
In 2007, Boseli started his entrepreneurial work by joining IdealRatings; a US-based startup, which has grown to be the global leader in Islamic fund management and index services.
Boseli started his software career after graduating from Ain Shams University (Computer Engineering). Starting in Raya Software, followed by ITWorx, he delivered many successful projects to the Egyptian government, Qatar Ministry of foreign affairs, and Qatar Foundation.
Apart from work, Boseli spent years in Rotaract (under the umbrella of Rotary International) targeting youth and community development. He acquired the post of Rotaract District Representative (2010/2011), responsible for managing 10 countries, delivering mega projects in the areas of community service, international understanding, and peace promotion.
